Photonic crystal is a kind of photonic material with periodic structure. The propagation of photons in photonic crystal is similar to that of electrons in periodic lattice, and the band dispersion structures of various Bloch waves can be obtained. Various novel photon regulation functions can be realized by adjusting the band dispersion of photonic crystals. Recently, by means of crystal group and symmetry design, photonic bands with topological properties can be obtained in photonic crystals, and topological interface states can be formed on the surface and interface of photonic crystals. In our research group, photonic crystals are combined with metal superstructure surfaces, and the topological surface state dispersion of photonic crystals is controlled by superstandard surface structure design, which has practical applications in photon quantum radiation, photon absorption and photon detection.
