Transformation Optics chips
Optical integrated chips are the frontier of optical information technology, but they lack universally applicable optical chip design methods. Based on the universally applicable principles and methods of conform transformation, we explore the new physics of light field regulation, nonlinear optics and quantum optics on optical chips, and realize new integrated photon devices and applications.
Thermal emission metasurface
Thermal radiation is a widespread physical process, but it lacks multidimensional regulatory methods. We use the wavelength, polarization, direction, time response and spatial distribution of supersurface to regulate thermal radiation to achieve flexible multidimensional thermal radiation regulation and application in infrared imaging, molecular sensing and material analysis.
Topological Photonic Crystal
Topology exists widely in various physical systems, but most studies are limited to actual low-dimensional systems. We introduce synthetic dimensions into simple low-dimensional structures, explore the new topological physical characteristics of high-dimensional synthetic space, discover new effects, and realize new optical applications.
